Der Netzwerkisolator wird bevorzugt in medizinischen Umgebungen eingesetzt. Einfach per plug and play zwischengeschaltet ins Ethernet-Netzwerk, schützt er die Patienten vor potentiellem Ableitstrom, welcher von den angeschlossenen Geräten ausgehen könnte. Außerdem schützt er angeschlossene Geräte sowie deren Nutzer vor transienten Überspannungen. Die Netzwerkisolatoren trennen galvanisch entsprechend der EN 60601-1. /
The network isolator is preferably used in medical environments. It also protects connected devices and their users from transient overvoltages. The network isolators provide galvanic isolation in accordance with EN 60601-1.
