This switch is the suitable network solution for rolling stock and railway applications,and features M12 connectors for Ethernet, console and power supply connections to ensure a tight and robust connection and reliable operation against environmental influences such as vibrations and shocks in the train. The switch is a managed PoE Ethernet switch, it provides 8 x Fast Ethernet M12 D-code interface with IEEE802.3af/at PoE (Power Over Ethernet) function. PoE ports can provide up to 90 Watts of power in total for P.D. devices (such as camera, IP phone and wireless access point). It has a "slim" design, can be easily deployed with its slim size and enables easier network deployment in crowded trolley/cabinet.
